Mr. Wood comes to Stonegate from Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was a shareholder and practiced law with the Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk law firm. Mr. Wood has extensive experience in the Skilled Nursing and Seniors Housing industries. Prior to his joining the Modrall law firm, Mr. Wood served as Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel for Peak Medical Corporation. Prior to the sale of Peak to Sun Health Care in 2006, Peak was an operator of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities primarily in the Rocky Mountain region. Mr. Wood served in similar positions with Integrated Health Services and Horizon Healthcare Corporation.
